Tapiwa Humphrey Vambe, is a fabulous artist, presently residing in Vienna. He was born in 26. November 1969 in Harare Zimbabwe.

He creates sculptures from old metals, iron and uses traditional Blacksmithing techniques to produce items of enduring quality. Metal is heated in a coal forge then worked with the hammer to create forms and textures that NO other method can duplicate . He graduated Fine Arts major in Sculpture at B.A.T. Fine Art School in Harare Zimbabwe. He is also a painter but he concentrate more on sculpture.

He has been working with forged iron and historic reproduction for many years.

His dedication to the craft of building precision tools and instruments embodies his work with a grace and attention to detail that deserves and satisfies close inspection.
